Pam M. Thompson, is currently Director, Software Engineering, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and Director, F-35 Productivity and Tool Enhancements (Acting). Pam has  over 28 years of experience working on aircraft hardware and software product deliverables and issues for the C-130 A-H/J, KC-130H, C-5 A/B, C-141 B, L-100, L-182, L-188, F-22, L-1011,  P-3 and S-3.  Her experience includes positions in manufacturing, engineering and business management.   Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Pam served 5 years active and 6 years US Air Force Reserves at 14th Air Force .  She has an undergraduate degree in engineering  from SPSU and a Masters degree in Business Administration  from Georgia State University.

Since October 2000, Pam has served as the Director of Software Engineering for LM Aero at headquarters in Fort Worth , TX.   She has responsibility for program support, staffing, software process definition, metrics, software engineering environments, and  technical problem resolution.   She was responsible for establishing a common software process across all three LM Aero sites.

In June 2004, Pam was asked to take on the additional responsibility for F-35 tool development project management and productivity enhancements.
